CGV specially screened 5 films of late Hong Kong actor Jang Kook-young.

CGV announced on the 24th that it will collect 5 works of Jang Guk-young from the 25th and screen them at the Star Pavilion under the theme of’Remembering the Stars (★)’. ‘Remembering the Star (★)’, which is held for two weeks until April 7th, is a special exhibition to commemorate Jang Guk-young, who left us like a lie on April 1, 2003. It has already been 18 years since he left our side, but many audiences are expecting this opportunity to meet him who is still shining in the work.

‘Remembering the Stars (★)’ screens a total of 5 films at 34 CGV Star Pavilions nationwide, including’Abi Jeongjeon’,’Happy Together’,’Heroic Bonsaek 1 and 2’and’Seongwol Fairy Tale’.

‘Abijeongjeon’ and’Happy Together’ are directed by Wang Ga-wi, who was called the icon of Hong Kong movies in the 90s. In two works, Jang Guk-young captured the audience by performing his own unique acting, lonely and lonely. In particular, the lone father in’Abi Jeongjeon’ resembles Jang Guk-young a lot, so it is counted as one of the most loved works by fans who miss him.

‘Heroic Bone Saek 1, 2’was released in Korea in 1987 and 1988.
