The teasing video is a setting that a rollable user watches a’press conference’ on a smartphone. When the conference began, the rollable screen that looked like a bar was unfolded and turned into a wide screen like a tablet PC. At the end of the video, the unfolded screen rolled in and returned to the original bar shape.

Rollable seems to be equipped with a function that allows you to freely enlarge the screen size and use it in either horizontal or vertical direction. Also, according to the image video, the rollable is a form of’rolling around’ inside the terminal, so unlike a foldable phone, there is no’folded’ mark.

However, even though the previously released foldable phone did not have a crease in the teasing video or image, the key is how complete the rollable phone was implemented as there was a crease in the actually released terminal.

According to the rollable’emulator’ released by Google at the end of last year, the default display size is 17.27 cm (6.8 inches), and if it is expanded, it will grow to 18.80 cm (7.4 inches). The emulator is a device that provides an environment in which a smartphone application can be developed without physical restrictions. The application processor (AP) is expected to be applied with the Snapdragon 888.

In the industry, as LG Electronics unveiled a teaser video at CES 2021, it is predicted that rollables will be put on the market as early as in the first half of March at the latest.
