[CES 2021] Acer unveils’Chromebook Spin 514′-Cnet Korea

The Chromebook introduced this time is the’Chromebook Spin 514′ for general consumers and the’Chromebook Spin 514′ for enterprises.

‘Chromebook Spin 514’ is the first Chromebook equipped with AMD Ryzen 3000C series mobile processor and AMD Radeon graphics, and is optimized for online learning environment, working from home and remote classes with fast booting speed, durability, and up to 10 hours battery.

With the AMD Ryzen 7 3700C or Ryzen 5 3500C quad-core processor and AMD Radeon Vega mobile graphics, video editing, coding, gaming, and video streaming can be performed more smoothly.

It is a convertible product that rotates 360 degrees and can be used in a total of four types, including display, tablet, tent, and clamshell mode.

It is composed of two models, CP514-1H and CP514-HH, and enhanced portability with 17.35mm thickness and 1.55kg weight, and up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 256GB storage are mounted.

In addition, the 14-inch (35.56cm) IPS touch screen panel is made of Corning Gorilla glass that prevents odors and stains, so it is resistant to scratches and impacts, and the backlit keyboard enables efficient use even in dark environments.

Designed with an aluminum body and a diamond-cut top plate, it passed the US Department of Defense’s durability test’MIL-STD 801H’.
