A vehicle hit a barricade outside the Capitol in Washington, USA. This killed one policeman and injured another. The suspect who drove the vehicle was also shot and killed by the police. On the 2nd (local time), the suspect hit a barricade at a checkpoint, about 91m away from the entrance of the Senate building of the Capitol, by car around 1pm on the same day.
