Actor Cho Byeong-gyu completely denied allegations of abusing.

On the 17th, Cho Byeong-gyu’s management company HB Entertainment said, “To ask for legal responsibility for the indiscriminate malicious comments and dissemination of false facts towards actor Cho Byeong-gyu posted through the current online community, we have officially requested a police investigation, and that the current case and related investigations have been initiated. “We will inform you,” he said, “We will no longer be left to sit down on the offenses that mass-produce and spread malicious rumors against the actors we belong to, and we will hold legal responsibility without any prejudice or agreement according to the results of future investigations.”

He added, “We will continue to respond more strongly to illegal acts that damage the honor of our actors (spreading false facts, writing malicious comments), and will do our best to protect the rights and interests of our actors.”

Earlier on the 16th, an article titled “Jo Byeong-gyu School Violence Victim” was posted in an online community. The author of the article saying that he and Byeong-gyu attended the same school in New Zealand claimed verbal violence, claiming that Cho Byeong-gyu abused him as a group with other students.

The author also emphasized that his claim is true, saying, “The evidence of attending the same grade as (Jo Byeong-gyu), the homestay people, and even their parents contacted them, and the witnesses were quite more than I thought, and there was no worries about the complaint.”

When Cho Byeong-gyu appeared in the JTBC drama’Sky Castle’, which aired in 2018, he was also surrounded by’school violence suspicion’. Even at that time, Cho Byeong-gyu’s side completely refuted, saying, “It’s not true.”

Cho Byeong-gyu became a major actor while playing the main character Rumor in the recently ended OCN’Wonderful Rumor’. Recently, she has been actively engaged in entertainment programs with Yoo Jae-seok.
