Some candidates who took the 10th bar exam held at the beginning of last month filed a lawsuit against the state for damages due to the responsibilities of fraudulent questions.

The 10th Bar Examination National Compensation Litigation Delegation held a press conference in front of the Seoul Central District Court in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 8th and said, “This exam leaks public law records, aids in’underlined’ cheating, and early termination of Ewha Womans University’s 4th test center “It was fought in the midst of a total crisis,” he said.

The delegation said, “The public method recorded test questions were presented at almost the same level as the explanation data for the practice test used in the lectures of Yonsei University Law School.” It is the fault of the Ministry of Justice, which is obligated to manage and supervise the back.

One of the public law-recorded questions on the first day of the test was controversial that it was the same as the explanation data for the mock test distributed in the second semester’Public Law Dispute Practice’ class at Yonsei University Law School (law school).

The Ministry of Justice concluded that a professor at Yonsei University Law School, who participated in the question bank for the 2019 bar exam questionnaire, did not comply with the pledge with the Ministry of Justice and modified the relevant data and used it in his lecture, and decided to process all candidates with a perfect score without scoring the question.

Regarding this, the delegation argued, “Regardless of the leak, the candidates who received good scores could not resolve any injustices, such as suffering damages in good faith, and they were negligent in themselves.

They were also controversial because only some test sites allowed underlining of the law, and the Ministry of Justice changed the rules, saying that underlining is possible during the test, “It violates the Enforcement Decree of the Attorney Examination Act and infringes on the trust and interests of candidates to be evaluated fairly One act.”

In this lawsuit, 13 applicants for the 10th Byeonjeon participated and claimed 3 million won per person. The delegation said, “The amount is currently a symbolic amount and is likely to increase in the course of the lawsuit.”
