‘Minari’, a movie about the hard life of a Korean family who moved to Arkansas in the 1980s.
The Hollywood Foreign Journalists Association, which hosts Golden Globes, has nominated’Buttercup’ as a nomination for the 78th Golden Globe Foreign Language Film Awards.

‘Minari’ competed with four other nominations for the final award.
‘Minari’, based on the autobiographical experience of Korean-American director Isak Jeong, was played by Korean actors Yoon Yeo-jung and Han Ye-ri and Korean-American Stephen Yeon.
‘Minari’ has already won 60 trophies, including the American Film Association, and is getting the attention of critics.
If you win the Golden Globe, which is considered to be an Oscar outpost, good results are also expected at the Academy Awards in April.
‘Parasite’ was also the first Korean movie to be awarded the Golden Globe and achieved a feat of winning four Academy Awards.
However, Yoon Yeo-jung, who plays the grandmother from Korea, won 20 crowns at the previous film festival, but was not eligible for the Golden Globe finalist.
‘Buttercup’ is an American film made by an American producer, but discrimination controversy has also been raised as it is known that it will be excluded from the film award because it has less than 50% English ambassadors.
The Golden Globe Awards Ceremony will be held on the 28th and will be released next month in Korea.
