While the New Year’s meeting was held on the 7th at a conference hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, businessmen emphasized coping with the aftereffects of the stimulus from Corona 19 and regulatory reform.

This is the first time since the start of the New Year’s Day in 1962 that the New Year’s meeting in the business world has been conducted by video conferencing. In accordance with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines, only four people attended the event, including Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, Park Yong-man, chairman of the Korean Sangsang, Sung Yun-mo, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy, and Kim Dong-myeong, chairman of the Korean Federation of Trade Unions.
