Busan mayor by-election counting broadcasts can now be viewed through the KBS Busan Broadcasting System.
KBS Busan Broadcasting System is planning to broadcast its own counting count for the Busan Mayor’s by-election, which is as much as the Seoul Mayor’s by-election, which takes place today (7th), and broadcasts live throughout the country as well as in Busan.
As the ballot counting broadcast is conducted in Busan, it vividly conveys the atmosphere of the field in outdoor studios located in Gwangalli beaches, and uses big data related to the Busan election to explain in-depth and easy-to-understand the changes in the elections and public sentiment to viewers across the country. It is expected to provide other differentiated information.
This time counting broadcast is not only conducted by the KBS Busan Broadcasting System itself, but also presents a new attempt beyond local broadcasting in all aspects such as format and content.
First, in the format, we plan to deliver a lively scene by connecting the studio in Yeouido in Seoul and the outdoor studio in Seoul City Hall, the studio in Namcheon-dong, Busan and the outdoor studio in Gwangalli Beach, and each political party in KBS. In particular, the outdoor studio with the Gwangan Bridge, the symbol of Busan in the background, will present the beauty of Busan as well as the counting status of Busan to viewers across the country. In addition, reporters convey the public sentiment of polling and counting offices, and the tensions and cheers of each party through MNG in real time.
In terms of content, for the first time in Busan area counting broadcasts, the election results are analyzed in an elaborate and in-depth manner using big data. K-Touch, which contains the results of the elections and big data over the past 20 years, explains the changes in the elections and public sentiment in Busan. In particular, reporter Hwang Hyeon-gyu, a K-touch expert, is planning to conduct a three-dimensional ballot counting broadcast through 10 different scenarios, including a comparison of changes in turnout and supportive parties in Busan’s previous elections and this election, as well as trends in district support, age group, and gender approval ratings. . In addition, we plan to look at the relationship between the changes in pre-voting that is attracting attention and the relationship between the election.
The main MC of the outdoor studio in Gwangalli is the announcer Cha Jae-hwan and the announcer Park Ji-won. Reporter Noh Joon-cheol of the Political Ministry of Busan also appears in an outdoor studio.
Reporter Noh Jun-cheol plans to deliver the backstory that closely covered the election campaign, the public sentiment of the field, and the fluctuating trend of disparate collection in Busan’s government.
Along with this, Si-won Jin, professor of social education at Pusan National University, and professor Nam Il-jae of Dongseo University (Director of Dongseo University’s Social Education Center) will also appear to give in-depth talks about the points of spectating the results of the vote, and the reorganization of the Busan politics in the future.
The counting broadcast of the Busan Mayor’s by-election will be broadcasted on the 7th at 7pm, 9pm, and 11pm, all three times with local broadcasts for 20 minutes each. At 8 pm and 10 pm, it is scheduled to be broadcast live across the country in connection with the counting broadcasts held at the headquarters.
