Spies tied for third place

Reporter Kwon Hyeok-jin = Daniel Burger (USA) was the protagonist of the American Pro Golf (PGA) Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am ($7.8 million in prize money).
Burger hit 7 under par 65 in the fourth round of the tournament held at Pebble Beach Golf Links (par 72), California, USA on the 15th (Korean time).
Burger, who recorded a final total of 18 under par and 270 strokes, beat Maverick McNealy’s pursuit by two strokes and kissed the trophy. It has been the championship in eight months since the Charles Schwab Challenge in June last year and is the fourth in the PGA’s career.
Burger, who went on to the final round with a tie for second place after two strokes, predicted an unusual day with a second hole eagle. He was close to the championship by thinning out birdies in the 3rd and 6th holes.
Burger, who made his first look at the 8th hole, changed the trend to a birdie on the 10th hole. Even on the 14th hole, the title competition continued by dropping Buddy Putt into the hole cup.
The finale was decorated with eagles. Burger, who joined McNeally and co-leader on the 18th hole, ended the match by making a lightly successful eagle putt over 9m.
McNealy, who harassed Burger to the end, was satisfied with the second place alone.
Jordan Spice, who kept the lead until the third round and hoped for his 12th victory in 3 years and 7 months, was satisfied with Patrick Cantley (above the United States) and tied for 3rd with a total of 15 under par 273 strokes. He caught 5 buddies, but it was regrettable that he was stunned by 3 bogies.
Kang Seong-hoon, the only Korean player to successfully pass the cut, finished the tournament with a tie for 63rd place with a total of 2 over par 290 strokes on the last day.
