BTS’ Jungkook revealed her feelings of becoming a global representative in Korea and her future steps in an interview with Grammy.
On the 10th (local time), Grammy, the highest authority in the United States, reported an interview with BTS through the official website.
Grammy said that he met BTS, a world-class pop superstar, congratulating BTS, who was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Award with’Dynamite’, ahead of the 2021’GRAMMY AWARDS’ performance.
Jungkook said, “This is the first time not only for BTS, but also for K-pop groups. Many artists respect your achievements in the West. How do you feel as a global representative of Korea? I am grateful for the support and interest of not only my fans but also my colleagues, I will work harder to show better music and performances in the future. I hope this is just the beginning. Seungri will be meaningful not only for us, but also for many people who seek diversity in music,” he said.

Jungkook asked, “What is BTS’ next move in 2021? Is there a new music or solo project?” I also want to show more musical versatility,” he expressed his determination.
In an interview with’AP Entertainment’, Jungkook said, “We were also very curious and liked it, but it seems that the people whom we liked when we were nominated more than anyone else are our bonds with ARMY and ARMY. “I am always far away, but I always seem to be close, and I am always grateful. It is precious.” He expressed his gratitude and affection to ARMYs around the world.
Meanwhile, BTS, who was nominated for the Grammy Awards, which is considered the most prestigious pop music award, is the first Korean singer to perform at the Grammy Awards.
According to the American Recording Academy, which hosts the Grammy Awards, the 63rd Awards Ceremony held on the 15th (14th local time), including BTS, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Billy Eilish, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John A total of 22 teams including Mayer, Megan the Stallion, Post Malone, Lodi Richie, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift will perform.
