There are reports that Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, facing a financial crisis, could sell a lot of star players in the summer transfer market. It is a rather shocking news that the main players such as Harry Kane and Son Heung-min can be sold for sale.

‘Football Insider’ said on the 17th (Korean time), “Even if Tottenham wins the European Football Federation Champions League qualification next season, he has no choice but to sell the blockbuster player in the summer transfer market.”

According to the media, Tottenham’s chairman Daniel Levy expects to lose £150 million this season if the crowd remains unattended in the aftermath of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

Football Insider predicted that even if Tottenham secured a Champions League qualification (4th place or higher), it could sell big-name players on a large scale to raise money.

The media said, “Supporters may have to pray that the players who may be leaving are not the club’s important assets, Son Heung-min or Kane.”

In fact, it is reported that Tottenham suffered a loss of close to 100 billion won in recent years as a result of a direct hit from Corona 19. As time goes by, the deficit is getting bigger as advertising and competition spectators’ income has plummeted.

There is an expectation that Tottenham will be able to sell the team’s main axis, Son Heung-min or Kane, in order to earn a high transfer fee while the club’s survival problem is running.

Recently, there have been reports that Son Heung-min can transfer to Juventus for 90 million euros (about 120.5 billion won) through Italian media. Kane is constantly linking with big clubs such as Manchester United.

The media said, “Tottenham has made a profit of 172 million pounds (about 264.3 billion won) from player sales in the last five years,” and predicted that it would once again start selling the main players to solve the club’s financial problems.
