YouTuber Bo-gyeom (Kim Bo-gyeom) announced a legal action against Professor Yoon Ji-seon of Sejong University Daeyang Humanity College, who called her buzzword’Boyru’ in her thesis ”

Bogyeom is questioning the thesis “The Embryology of’Kwaneumworm’: A Neomaterialist Analysis of the Transition of the Process of Incomplete Transformation of Korean Masculinity” by Professor Yoon, published in The Study of Philosophy in December 2019. The thesis stipulates that the term’Boiru’ is a compound word of “Bo X + Hi (Hi), and has been used as a buzzword for misogynistic play from elementary school boys to young people in their 20s and 30s.”
In response, Bogyeom raised the issue, and the thesis was “Bogyeom + Hairu”, which was synthesized and used as a greeting. It has been partially modified to say that it is used and spread like a buzzword.”
On the 4th, Bogyeom said on his YouTube channel that he was preparing a lawsuit against Professor Yoon, saying, “I was clearly a victim, but within a day or two, I became an assailant, trash, and misogynistic.”
Prof. Yoon said in an interview on the day that’Boiru’ is being used as a misogynistic term. Almost all agree.”
Regarding Bogyeom’s lawsuit, he said, “In Korean society, we are largely responding to the demands of some male groups who believe that there is no discrimination against women or female pollution. “I am making a YouTube video.”
He said, “I am further triggering the level of online and offline collective cyber attacks, and if Bogyeom sues me, I will respond confidently. I am looking forward to a ruling that properly judges the enemy.”
