A mutant coronavirus originating from the UK and South Africa was discovered simultaneously in Finland.

According to Reuters, the Finnish health authorities announced on the 28th that they detected a mutant virus common to the UK and South Asia from two and one new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) confirmed.

Earlier, Finland announced a ban on flights from the UK last week, but it did not stop the influx of the mutant virus.

The number of countries in which the mutant virus originating from the UK has been transmitted has been reported in Asia and North America beyond Europe and has increased to at least 25 countries as of the day.

It is also known that the South African mutant virus is more contagious than the mutant virus found in the UK.
