2K and Gearbox Entertainment announced the latest episodes of the Borderlands Show, including new DLC for Borderlands 3, Director’s Cut and re-released Tales from the Borderlands. Borderlands 3’s sixth DLC Director’s Cut will launch on March 19th, and can be purchased separately or played through Season Pass 2.
In particular, Director’s Cut’s new raid boss is attracting great attention because it allows you to defeat the invincible Hemoboros, a huge barkid hidden behind Pandora’s locked door since the release of Borderlands 3, along with other players and obtain the best loot. There is also a series of murder mystery missions that include new area and crime scene investigations. The character Ava believes that the murders are due to a supernatural phenomenon, and records the clues he finds in a podcast series.
Players can help Abba investigate events in Pandora, Promethea, Eden-6, and Necrotapeyo to find answers, earn loot, and reveal hints, hints and secrets related to some of the main stories. In Director’s Cut, three Vault cards that can be used for future themed loot bundles appear. Playing with the Vault card active, you can level up your card by completing daily and weekly challenges.
The first of the three Vault cards contains items that commemorate the most beloved and departed heroes in Borderlands, while the other two Vault cards are expected to be released by the end of 2021. There is no time limit for Vault Card content, and if multiple Vault Cards are available, you can always choose which Vault Card to activate.
Along with this, there are more than 100 challenges, so you can enjoy new challenges every day, and as you level up your cards, you can unlock powerful equipment that suits the player’s level, including themed items. In addition, a development secret story that has not been seen before is revealed. From production mistakes to unreleased content, you can get a glimpse of the development process of Borderlands 3, and you can check out a gallery containing numerous images, including concept art, storyboards, and missing maps.
On March 19th, a new multiverse bolt’s disciple decoration item will also be released. Like the Final Transformation Multipack, the Volt’s Disciple Multipack includes a new head and body for each Vault Hunter.
With these latest cosmetic items, you can see what the Vault Hunters would look like if they had joined Vault’s Children. Vault’s Discipleship Multipack is available at no additional cost through Season Pass 2 and Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and can be purchased individually.
Meanwhile,’Tales from the Borderlands’, a narrative-based adventure game, is returning. Tales from the Borderlands, who deals with the events between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3, tells the story of two protagonists who start out as greed but become great characters. You can create a story according to the player’s choice, and you can encounter a number of unpredictable results, from funny events to heartbreaking things.
This re-release version combines five original episodes into one package and will be released on February 17th for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The backwards compatibility feature allows you to play the game on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In addition, Borderlands 3’s free season event’Broken Heart Day’ will be held from February 11th to 25th at 1:59 am. During this event, you can see hearts revolving around enemies in every corner of the galaxy. Matching hearts triggers one of several unique effects, and you can shoot many hearts to receive special themed rewards.
You can get a total of 5 collectibles, including a different color version of last year’s cosmetic item rewards and two legendary weapons that can only be unlocked in this event. Borderlands 3 is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games stores.
