National marathoner Lee Bong-ju has been struggling with incurable diseases for more than a year, and said he is considering surgery.

Channel A’s’News Live’, which aired at 12 noon on the 22nd, talked about his current physical condition through a phone connection with Lee Bong-ju, who has been fighting an incurable disease for more than a year.

Lee Bong-ju said, “Because my muscles keep cramping, it’s difficult to straighten my back as well, and it’s uncomfortable because I continue to bend.” “It’s uncomfortable. “Because I can’t run, I can’t run, so… it’s a bit heavy in my heart.”

“I always run, but I can’t do that… Because I can’t run, I’m walking in a nearby mountain or a nearby mountain, or climbing with a stick little by little,” he complained of frustration.

Lee Bong-ju’s disease is known as dystonia, but the exact cause is unknown even after visiting famous hospitals across the country.

Bong-ju Lee “I treated the hospital, and I just went to the oriental clinic. I’m doing some kind of rehabilitation at home. Anyway, at the end, I’m also thinking about surgery, but I think it’s a little different from hospital to hospital. Some hospitals say you don’t have to do surgery, and some hospitals say you have to do surgery. It’s in this state of being divided.

Regarding this, a professor at the Catholic University’s Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital said, “The symptoms of muscle tone symptoms appear in the muscles, but the cause comes from the brain. There is a command system in the brain that makes our body move, and an imbalance comes from that command system.

There are cases in which music players cannot move certain fingers, and that can be seen as a mild case of dystonia.”

Earlier, Lee Bong-ju appeared on TV Chosun’s’Star Documentary My Way’ to reveal the unfortunate situation. I was worried about the appearance of riding a wheelchair with an uncomfortable figure with a bent back, and struggling steps with a cane.

Lee Bong-ju was active as the first member of JTBC’s’Come Together’, but temporarily got off the air due to a back injury in March last year.
