Singer BoA said hello to the fans.

On the 31st of last month, BoA posted a post on Instagram story saying “I love you. Thank you. Happy New Year”.

In addition, he added an article saying “I’m always happy that everyone kept me warm” in Japanese and “I’m nothing without you.”

Earlier, in December of last year, controversy arose after the fact that he was investigated by the prosecution for bringing psychotropic drugs from Japan without a report. The Seoul District Prosecutors’ Office has recently summoned BoA for alleged violations of the Drug Control Act.

It is reported that BoA was caught in the customs screening stage while trying to bring in psychotropic drugs such as zolpidem, which were prescribed overseas through an employee of his agency’s Japanese branch, under the name of a domestic employee.

At the time, the management company SM Entertainment said, “This happened due to the mistake of our overseas branch employees who did not have knowledge of trade and customs clearance. It wasn’t an illegal import, it was a mistake by ignorance.”

BoA said that due to the Corona 19 outbreak, the drug was prescribed as a normal procedure in Japan, where it is possible to receive it by proxy, but sending it by mail was a problem.

The prosecution, who investigated BoA and the agency’s staff, plans to decide whether to prosecute the crime by reviewing the crime and whether it was intentional.
