The Blue House said that President Moon Jae-in was “in peace” after receiving the AstraZeneca Corona 19 vaccine on the morning of the 23rd. Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said, “President Moon waited for 30 minutes after vaccination and returned to the Blue House and presided over the staff meeting for an hour and a half.” President Moon and Mrs. Kim Jeong-suk visited the Jongno Health Center in Seoul this morning to get vaccinations. President Moon is said to have visited a public health center wearing a short-sleeved shirt for vaccination. After entering the public health center, President Moon received a temperature measurement on his forehead and then received an AstraZeneca vaccine on his left arm. President Moon said, “There is no problem at all,” after the vaccination, the Blue House said. President Moon also said, “(The nurse) is very good at injecting injections.” President Moon was the first to receive the vaccine on this day, the first day when AstraZeneca vaccination was expanded to those over 65 years old. The Blue House explained that it was prepared for attendance at the G7 Summit held in the UK in June and is intended to alleviate concerns about the AstraZeneca vaccine. President Moon is 68 years old, and Mrs. Kim is 66 years old. Attendants such as National Security Office Chief Seo Hoon, President Yeon-sang Yeon-sang, Second Deputy Security Officer Kim Hyeong-jin, medical secretary Tak Hyun-min, and spokeswoman Kang Min-seok were also inoculated.
