President Moon Jae-in instructed the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH·LH) to accelerate housing supply measures, including the construction of the 3rd new town, in response to allegations of speculation by employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH·LH). President Moon said on the day that “the government’s trust in housing supply measures should not be shaken.” Furthermore, the countermeasures for supply should be carried out with a sense of speed.” This is the fourth time that President Moon has issued an order regarding allegations of speculation by an LH employee. The emphasis on’speedy supply measures’ is to prevent the real estate market from being affected by the alleged speculation by LH employees. Among market consumers, there is anxiety that the construction of the third new town may be delayed due to the investigation of speculation allegations.
