The fact that Shin Hyun-soo, chief executive officer of the Blue House, expressed his appreciation after a month and a half of his appointment, shows that the level of conflict accumulated between the Blue House, the Ministry of Justice, and the prosecution organization in the prosecution reform process promoted by the Moon Jae-in administration is that high. In order to close the conflict with the prosecution, even President Moon’s first prosecutor, Min Jeong, who was selected during his tenure of office, is an inconvenient signal since he announced that he would throw his post after a conflict with the head of the regime surrounding the prosecution personnel. President Moon immediately rejected his resignation, but the fact that Shin has not yet overturned his appreciation is evidence that the emotional goal accumulated in the personnel process has not been filled. Some observers say that Shin’s speech was aimed at President Moon, not Justice Minister Park Bum-gye. On the 17th, the Blue House revealed that Shin’s intention to resign several times to President Moon after having conflict with Minister Park during the prosecutor-level personnel process. It is unusual for a senior Blue House staff member who was not an ordinary government official to acknowledge the statement of his or her resignation at the stage where the resignation was not accepted.
