Bloomberg “Apple is angry…Hyundai Motor Group stops discussing Apple car cooperation”

The US business magazine Bloomberg reported on the 5th (local time), citing multiple sources, that Apple temporarily suspended discussions on the production of the’Apple Car’ it was promoting with the Hyundai Motor Group. Bloomberg explained, citing a source, that the reason why the Hyundai Motor Group stopped making Apple angry when it mentioned the project to the media.

The report came less than a day after the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that “Kia had contacted Apple partners to assemble an Apple car at its Georgia plant in the United States.”

Bloomberg reported on the day, “Recently, the Hyundai Motor Group indirectly admitted to the Korean media that it is negotiating the production of Apple cars with Apple, and Hyundai Motor Group’s mention of the project on the talks is making bad results.”

Bloomberg, citing a source, added that “Apple has kept the project a secret for several years, but the Hyundai Motor Group is known to be outraged by referring to the project in the media, judging that it was out of effective control of Apple.”

Bloomberg also said, “It is unclear when the discussion between Apple and the Hyundai Motor Group will resume,” he said. “Many companies are interested in cooperating with Apple.”

Another source told Bloomberg, “There is a controversy over whether Hyundai or Kia produces Apple cars within the Hyundai Motor Group.” It will be produced in the factory.”

Lastly, Bloomberg said, “As Apple is still in its infancy, there will be no project announcements in the next five years, and there will be more time to determine potential automotive partners.”
