A male Internet broadcaster (BJ) in his 40s who cruelly murdered a male employee in his 40s when he tried to broadcast an Internet broadcast in a heavily exposed outfit and was sentenced to a heavy sentence of 35 years in prison.
The 13th Division of the Uijeongbu District Law Criminal Agreement (presiding judge Da-ju Jung) announced on the 2nd that he sentenced Mr. Oh, 41, who was charged with robbery and murder, to 35 years in prison. It also ordered the attachment of electronic tracking devices and a ban on access to bereaved families for 20 years.
On June 29, last year, Oh was handed over to trial on charges of strangling and killing a female employee A (24, female) at an officetel office in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, with a weapon threatening her with a rope and then feeding them with tranquilizers and sleeping pills.
Mr. Oh, who was broadcasting overseas futures investments on the Internet, owed more than 100 million won, including loans to loan companies, and needed 15 million won a month, including office rent and family hospital expenses. In response, Mr. Oh hired Mr. A in March last year, and after teaching stock-related knowledge, he made a plan to make a profit by letting him broadcast the Internet while wearing a heavily exposed costume.
However, when Mr. A rejected it, it was investigated that he planned the crime. Immediately before the crime, the weapon and ropes were ordered online. Before the murder of Mr. A, he took 10 million won through account transfer.
After leaving the office right after the crime, Mr. Oh tried to take his own life, but failed and surrendered to the police on July 1, three days later. In the course of the investigation, it was confirmed that Oh was sentenced to three years in prison and three years in prison for special robbery and special rape, respectively, and served twice.
During the trial, Mr. Oh insisted that he took medicine because he had depression and panic disorder at the time of the crime, and claimed mental and physical weakness and accidental crime, but the court did not accept it.
The judge emphasized that “the victim was hired from the beginning with a plan to make money, and eventually took his life,” and stressed that “the victim, who seems to have felt great fear and fear in the entire course of the crime, died in extreme pain.” He said, “Severe punishment is inevitable considering the fact that the defendant was not forgiven by the bereaved and that he had a history of being punished for two violent crimes.”
