The nominee for Finance Minister Yellen is usually well-known as a cryptocurrency pessimist. Yellen warned in 2017, when he was chairman of the Fed, that “Bitcoin is a very speculative asset and not a stable means of storing value.”

Earlier, Bloomberg News reported that when Biden’s new government is in place, Finance Minister Yellen will fully regulate cryptocurrency.
