In this regard, Bioware’s general producer Christian Daily announced through its official blog that it would abandon the redevelopment of Anthem and focus its development capabilities on other games. ‘Ansome’ will continue to provide minimal support to maintain the status quo.

‘Ansome’, first unveiled at E3 in 2017, attracted the expectation of gamers from all over the world with excellent graphics and an attractive concept of exploring the open world wearing a reinforcement suit called Javelin Exosuit. However, the evaluation reversed after the game was officially released. The game received severe reviews due to fatal bugs that even basic campaigns could not proceed, excessively long loading and optimization issues, poor level design and content, etc., and scored 50-60 points in the review aggregation site Meta-critic and Open-critical. I reaped.

Accordingly, the developer Bioware officially announced in February last year that it is redeveloping the game through a project called’Ansome Next’. Rather than stop updating new content in the game, the company wanted to rebuild the game, focusing on the game’s core play and overall design overhaul from a long-term perspective, but the result ended with a project suspension in one year.

The general producer of Christian Daily explained the reason for the suspension of’Ansome Next’, saying, “As the telecommuting period was extended due to the influence of Corona 19, it became very difficult to achieve the things planned in the studio before Corona 19.” In addition, he said he will focus its development capabilities on the updates of’Dragon Age’ and’Mass Effect’ and’Star Wars: The Old Republic’ in the future.
