Bill Gates scratching inside Elon Musk… “I’ll buy a vaccine for shooting a rocket”

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft (MS), once again scratched the inside of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla.

Gates appeared on the podcast Sway on the 15th (local time) and said, “I don’t think rockets can be the solution to many of the problems we face. It’s better to spend money on measles vaccine and climate change response than space travel. I think it’s better,” he said.

It is read as a statement aimed at Musk, who is pursuing space exploration with the aim of pioneering Mars. Musk established SpaceX and continues to launch rockets to move 1 million people to Mars by 2050. Not long ago, it was the first private company to successfully launch a human spacecraft.

Gates amplified that he was not a “Mars man,” and “I have no intention of buying a ticket to space. I can buy a measles vaccine and save a person’s life for 1000 dollars, so when I spend money anywhere, “I keep this fact in mind,” he stressed.

He continued, “It is true that Musk has contributed greatly to solving the climate change problem through Tesla,” he said, but lowered that it made progress through “easy things like passenger cars.” It means that other industries have to put more effort into making a bigger change, but analysis shows that the word choice is quite edgy. “Sadly, people think, electricity and automobiles are only a third of the problem,” Gates said, citing steel, cement, meat, and other areas as areas to watch.

Gates previously mentioned eco-friendly electric car makers last year, and Tesla struck Musk’s planting. When Musk said that hydroxychloroquine, a malaria treatment, was effective against the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), he also pointed out that it was a “quiet evaluation”. At the time, Musk refuted via Twitter, saying, “Gates is not my lover,” and “He has no solutions for electric trucks.”
