US President-elect Joe Biden said on the 22nd (local time), “I have absolute confidence in the vaccine (new coronavirus infection),” and “I am looking forward to a second vaccination.”

Biden said at a year-end press conference held in Wilmington, Delaware that “but the supply of (vaccines) is in short supply.” To set an example for Americans who are distrustful of the COVID-19 vaccination, he was given a vaccination jointly developed by the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German Bioentech. Pfizer vaccine requires a second dose after 21 days. Biden said he would give more resources to supply the Corona 19 vaccine.

Biden also threw a message that Americans should continue to be alert about Corona 19. “Our darkest days are yet to come. It is not past.” In particular, referring to △ wearing masks △ banning large indoor gatherings, he said, “We should all be separated from each other for the time being.

Regarding the $892 billion (about 987 trillion won) stimulus bill that passed the US Congress a day ago, Biden said, “Like all compromises, this is far from perfect.” Initially, the Democratic Party was in the position that it needed a 2 trillion dollar economic stimulus bill, but the amount declined against the Republican Party.

But Biden said, “This week the Congress has done what they have to do. “I can and should ask for Congress to process the stimulus bill again next year.” He used the expression’starting money’ for the passage of this bill, and said that it was “just the first step,” and announced the promotion of additional economic stimulus measures after taking office.

Biden also launched an onslaught on President Donald Trump over cyber hacking of US government ministries that the Russian government has pointed behind. “The Trump administration has failed to prioritize cybersecurity,” he said. “We were disappointed with President Trump’s actions.” He also said, “Even if he doesn’t take it seriously, I will take it seriously.”

It also left a warning in Russia. “If I know the extent of the damage and who is officially responsible, we will respond,” said Biden. “Probably the same response.” After the US Treasury and Homeland Security were hacked, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo mentioned behind Russia, but President Trump raised the possibility of China’s actions, saying that the media only blamed Russia.
