As the trend of’Very Important Baby (VIB)’ to provide only good for children continues, snacks for infants that can be eaten safely using organic ingredients are gaining popularity. Due to the’zipkok’ life caused by the Corona 19 crisis, the demand for food for children is increasing further. According to the Food Industry Statistical Information (aT FIS), domestic infant convenience meals amounted to only 68 billion won in 2015, but showed a rapid growth of 20% on average annually to 170 billion won in 2020. Maeil Dairy introduced two kinds of organic juice from Sangha Ranch, using the best raw materials for children. There are two flavors, apple strawberry kale and apple orange kale, using naturally pollinated fruits by bees, organic vegetables grown in the natural way, and low-fat milk. Organic apples are supplied by designated farms in the Southern Alps in Europe, ensuring eco-friendliness and taste. Binggrae is targeting the children’s beverage market with’Cocoa Flavor Milk Kids’ following’Banana Flavored Milk Kids’, a processed milk product for children. Coco-flavored milk Kids contains nutrients such as calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamin D that help children grow. Organic cocoa powder, organic sugar, and natural flavors are used to ensure taste and health. It contains 87% of domestic crude oil and has been certified as’K-MILK’ by the Korean Dairy and Beef Cattle Association, and it is one of the products with the highest crude oil content compared to other children’s chocolate milk products of the same type. Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s children’s organic juice brand’O’rganic’ is a popular product that has exceeded 26 million units in cumulative sales for two years since its launch. Using fruits and vegetables grown in soil that has not used pesticides and chemical fertilizers for more than 3 years, it has been certified as an organic processed food, the highest grade among eco-friendly certifications, and added fermented lactobacillus lactic acid bacteria. In the package, a self-developed character is applied, and it can be tasted in three flavors: Knie (apple & carrot), Penny (red beet & pear & tomato), and Tney (red grape & purple carrot).
