The snack restaurant run by the Mukbang YouTuber was overwhelmed by price controversy.

Mukbang YouTuber Ziyang (real name Park Jeong-won, 24) recently announced the opening of’Jeongwon Snack’ named after him.
Ziyang went through a test period inviting only acquaintances before officially opening this snack restaurant located in Isu Station.

Ziyang released photos and videos inside the restaurant taken during this period through YouTube and Instagram.
After a while, controversy arose over the menu of garden snacks in the online community.

Although it is a normal menu such as Tteokbokki, Chicken, Sandwich, and Sundae Stir-fried, the price is quite different from typical snack restaurants.

On the menu, prices are set between 6500 won for tteokbokki, 10,000 won for rice bowls, and 7,000 won to 8,000 won for the side menu.
The ‘Tsusajang Set’, which consisted of two drinks in the bag tteokbokki, champon tteokbokki, assorted tempura, Montecristo sandwich, and cocktail chicken, cost 37,000 won.

As it is known that the quantity is not plentiful than the price, netizens responded with “It’s a restaurant that doesn’t match the image of Ziyang, a glutton,” “It’s a foodie YouTuber who eats a lot, but the amount of food doesn’t look much”, and “It’s too expensive.”
As the price and quantity became controversial, Jung Won Bun-sik posted a post on Instagram and announced that “We will postpone the opening for better development.”

Ziyang, a popular eatery YouTuber with millions of subscribers, ended his personal broadcast in August of last year, being suspicious of’back advertisement’. After 3 months, it announced the return to the broadcast in November, and is still active.
