Beijing, the capital of China, has caught another emergency due to the spread of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
Beijing authorities have tested nucleic acids on more than 1 million residents in a matter of days until the 27th.
In Beijing, 13 people were confirmed to have been infected for 13 days from the 14th. 9 people in Shunyi District, 3 people in Chaoyang District, and 1 in City Hall District.
Beijing’s Corona 19 situation became serious only six months after the collective infection of the agricultural and marine products market in Sinfadi in June.
According to the Global Times on the 28th, Beijing authorities began to strictly control tourism between cities. The city of Beijing is urging citizens to refrain from visiting other regions or visiting Beijing during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays because of concerns about the spread of Corona 19.
Beijing City demanded that travel agencies not organize group tours in Beijing during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.
Some travel agencies in Guangdong Province have already suspended reservations for group tours in Beijing, and related tours can be canceled, the Southern City News reported.
Beijing authorities are urging citizens to refrain from unnecessary travel. In the meantime, more and more residents want to cancel their travel plans and spend the New Year holidays in Beijing.
Various large events during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays were also prohibited in principle.
Hwanle-gu (Happy Valley), a large amusement park, stopped opening at night and canceled concerts scheduled for New Year’s Eve.
At a press conference the previous day, Beijing authorities ordered strict quarantine measures to be applied as all administrative organizations and enterprises entered an emergency.

Zeng Guang, chief scientist at the Center for Disease Prevention and Control in China, said the situation in Beijing is much worse than a few weeks ago and that authorities should adjust their quarantine policies according to the new situation. He said, for example, we should be able to demand that we do not leave Beijing unless it is necessary or urgent.
In particular, he pointed out that unlike the group infection that started in the Sinpadi market in June, the path of sporadic infections in various places this time is unclear.
Since the Sinfadi market mass infection subsided, Beijing only had a low-risk area for Corona 19, but a medium-risk area reappeared in the last 150 days.
On the 26th, two areas in Shunyi District were designated as medium-risk areas, and Beijing’s medium-risk areas increased to three.
The number of infections continues to increase, starting with one person who arrived in Beijing from Hong Kong and was quarantined at a hotel in Chaoyang District on the 14th.
However, there were no additional confirmed patients or asymptomatic infections for a day on the 27th, after one after another.
In Sooni-gu, where a large number of Koreans live, samples were collected from 111 test stations of 840,000 people by 3 pm the previous day, and all 390,000 test results were negative.
In Chaoyang-gu, all 230,000 of the residents who were tested on the 26th were negative. After it was confirmed that a confirmed patient in her twenties living in Suni-gu worked in Wangjing, Chaoyang-gu, the largest concentration of Koreans, three areas in Chaoyang-gu, including Wangjing, conducted inspections for all residents over two days from 26 to 27.
The city hall also tested 94,000 people from the 26th, and said that all were negative.
Meanwhile, in the northeastern province of Liaoning the previous day, 6 confirmed cases and 3 additional asymptomatic infections were reported.
Except for one confirmed case of Shenyang, the rest were all reported in Dalian. In Dalian, more than 50 people have been confirmed to be infected since the last 15 days in two weeks.
In Dalian, 10 have been newly designated as medium-risk areas.
Dalian city said at a press conference the day before that it had finished testing the nucleic acids of 6.38 million former residents.
