A long line began to line up in a business and commercial complex in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China at 11 am on Sunday 27th. In the front, there was a tent with the words’Chinese Red Cross Society’ written in red. It is a temporary corona nucleic acid test site. The reporter received an emergency message from the apartment management office at 11:30 the night before, stating that “the date of the nuclear acid test has been advanced from Monday to Sunday next week.”

I waited about three hours to get tested. It took about 3 seconds to collect the sample by sweeping the throat several times with a cotton swab. The test is done by testing five samples at once. More than 1,000 people were waiting for their turn behind the reporter.

The nucleic acid test is based on the fact that Chaoyang-gu authorities ordered all three local residents to test for nucleic acid, including Wang Jing, a densely populated Korean residence, after several confirmed cases were recently reported. The tests were conducted intensively on the 26th and 27th, and some are in progress on the morning of the 28th. The test is free. Authorities in Chaoyang District said that the nucleic acid test results of 23,4413 people who were tested between 8 am on the 26th and 8 am on the 27th were all negative.

In Beijing, 13 confirmed cases were confirmed in the last two weeks until the 26th. In particular, there were two confirmed cases on the 25th and 5 on the 26th in Shunyi District in northeastern Beijing. Soon Yi-gu declared the state of war and conducted nucleic acid tests on 800,000 residents for two days on the weekend. The number of nucleic acid tests conducted by two districts, Chaoyang-gu and Suni-gu over two days on the weekend, exceeded 1 million. Some villages in Shunyi District, such as Siduran and Dong Haihong, have been blocked.

Beijing City said there is a possibility that more infected people could be found through a large-scale nucleic acid test. He stressed that it is important to block the spread of infection by finding asymptomatic infected people, etc., when the source of infection is not clear.

Beijing City has stepped up quarantine measures across the city as sporadic confirmations followed ahead of the New Year. From the 29th, when entering a commercial building, a negative nucleic acid test must be presented within 7 days. Previously, only the Beijing City health check app (application) Jen Kang Bao (健康寶·Health Kit) was checked, but the nucleic acid test result must also be shown.

Beijing also reduced large-scale events for the New Year and recommended citizens to refrain from traveling. Beijing parks, tourist attractions and indoor public places should reduce the number of visitors to 75% of the usual maximum capacity. Amusement parks and religious facilities shortened operating hours.

Earlier, the city of Beijing instructed government officials not to leave Beijing during the holiday season. Even ordinary citizens were advised not to travel unnecessary. As the Chinese Lunar New Year’s Comfort Dan and Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s Lunar New Year’s to Move Over the Holiday Period, raising concerns that the virus could spread again. The Lunar New Year holiday in January this year, in the early days of the corona crisis, contributed to the nationwide spread of the corona in China.

In Beijing, China’s largest annual political event, Yanghoe, will be held in early March next year. As the Chinese government officially announced the schedule of the two meetings next year on the 26th, Beijing is in a situation where no more infected people appear in the remaining two months. China held both meetings every March, but this year it was only held at the end of May due to quarantine.
