It is an evaluation that it is ‘total and comprehensive’ to preoccupy the digital platform field. In particular, the movement of’digital agreement’ between Shinhan and Woori Bank is active.

According to the financial sector on the 25th, Shinhan Bank recently joined hands with Nexon to discover innovative businesses that combine games and finance. The two companies plan to discover new business models based on AI and My Data, develop content that links finance and games, and conduct joint marketing.

This is in line with the future competitiveness of both companies in that it is a’digital agreement’ to secure Generation MZ as customers. It is expected that the payment business will also be promoted based on the financial infrastructure in the future. We plan to use Shinhan Bank’s financial infrastructure as an in-game payment basis.

Shinhan Bank is also conducting a’My Data Joint Project’ with CJ Olive Young and LG Uplus. We jointly promote the development of a platform that allows customers, who provide information, to directly manage various data collected with customer consent. In addition to financial-oriented my data services such as asset and consumption management, we also provide a variety of customized life services such as communication, life, distribution, and shopping.

Tasks that the three companies are promoting together are ▲data collection and system establishment through big data network and alliance establishment ▲AI-based customized services such as machine learning through consumer-oriented platform development ▲digital marketing resources sharing to discover new data businesses.

We plan to speed up business promotion by operating a project team in which each company’s big data experts participate. The outcome of the joint project is aimed at launching in the second half of next year after going through a pilot service in the first half of next year.

Woori Bank is also signing business agreements to build a digital platform one after another. On the 15th of this month, we signed a business alliance agreement with Lotte Members for’digital innovation’. Kwon Kwang-seok, head of Woori Bank, chose to provide a’life-oriented financial service’ that fits the customer’s lifestyle as the background of the partnership with distributors.

The two companies plan to actively promote new business alliances in various fields through the establishment of a digital platform, such as developing big data-based financial products that reflect the latest trends based on financial and distribution data and providing customized recommendation services optimized for customer needs.

Woori Bank has also established a cooperative relationship with the mobility platform. The plan is to accelerate the development of data convergence products by signing a’sharing platform and supply chain finance agreement’ with Soka, the representative mobility platform in Korea.

Woori Bank has a policy to provide financial products and services to Socar users who have entered the mobility business such as used car sales and proxy driving, as well as car sharing. We are also developing startup supply chain financial products by combining Soka’s mobility platform data.
