In connection with the recent suspension of AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccination to investigate cases of’thrombosis’ in some European countries, the quarantine authorities announced that they will take prompt action if any abnormalities are detected in Korea.

When the serial number is the same, it means that it was made by the same process at a certain time, so the composition of the vaccine is homogeneous.
Earlier, in Austria, two women who received the same serial number (batch ABV 5300) of AstraZeneca vaccine at the same time in Austria had adverse thrombotic reactions, of which a 49-year-old woman died of’severe clotting’.
With suspected blood clots, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway and Iceland temporarily stopped vaccination against AstraZeneca, while Austria, Italy, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg stopped vaccination with a specific serial number.
However, the UK, Sweden, France, Spain and the Netherlands continue to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.
