At least 117 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred in Seoul.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 23rd, the number of corona19 confirmed at 6 p.m. on that day was 23,341, an increase of 117 from 0 p.m. The number of new confirmed cases on this day increased by 11 from 106 at the same time the day before.

Accordingly, there is a high possibility of maintaining 100 people on the 17th. The daily number of new confirmed cases in Seoul has been maintained at around 100 for ’16 consecutive days’ starting with 191 on the 7th.

However, group infection continues, mainly in nursing hospitals, facilities, and saunas.

The number of confirmed cases related to residential facilities and nursing facilities in Seongdong-gu was added, and the cumulative number of related cases increased to 34.

In addition, two related confirmed persons were also added in the Olympia sauna in Gangnam-gu. The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the facility increased to 22.

The number of confirmed overseas inflows increased by 4 to 760. 71 contacts with other confirmed patients (cumulative 7331) and 8 contacts with other confirmed patients (cumulative 1048) increased. There were 26 confirmed cases (5376 cumulative) who are investigating the route of infection.
