The RTX 3060 12GB series is based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, delivering the advantages of the latest NVIDIA chipsets through a next-generation thermal solution, improved PCB and robust power design. Like all RTX 30 series GPUs, the RTX 3060 supports NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA Broadcast, which accelerate performance and improve image quality.
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 12GB is designed optimized for NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture. The metal shroud is equipped with three fans with Axial-tech applied, and the central fan directly supplies cool air to the GPU heat spreader, and the two fans located on both sides create a more efficient airflow and create a more efficient airflow between the fans. In addition to the finest chokes and MOSFETs, the capacitors are military-grade certified for high durability. The manufacturing process using Auto-Extreme technology is subjected to 144 hours of rigorous verification testing to ensure perfect performance.
Much of the back is surrounded by a metal back plate featuring wide vents to prevent heat build up. The bracket located under the GPU provides constant pressure between the GPU and the heat spreader, protects the I/O ports, and is made of stainless steel for a more secure mount. ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 12GB’s sleek shroud surrounds two Axial-tech fans with a large heatsink designed to maximize airflow, and 0dB technology automatically shuts down the fans at low temperatures. The 20cm long two-slot design makes it the perfect choice for small form factor configurations.
