Reuters reported on the 1st, citing the announcement of Singapore’s foreign minister, that foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will hold a special meeting on the 2nd and discuss the issue of Ianmar.
Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrushinan said, “A special meeting of ASEAN Foreign Ministers will be convened by video tomorrow.”
Earlier the day before, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights announced that at least 18 protesters were killed after being shot by the police during a day on the 28th, summarizing local sources. It is also known that at least 30 people were injured.
