The Arctic cold wave, which has frozen even the Han River, continues today.

It is less than last Friday, when the cold wave reached its peak, but this morning, Cheorwon in Gangwon-do fell below -17 degrees Celsius and Seoul is showing around -10 degrees Celsius.

This time of year, the temperature is 3 to 5 degrees lower than the average temperature in the past 30 years.

Even during the day, the cold weather in the sub-zero zone will continue, with Seoul staying at 3 degrees below zero.

Cold wave warnings are in effect in northeastern Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon-do, and Chungbuk, and cold-wave warnings are in effect in other central regions and Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk.

It will snow on Jeju Island and the west coast today due to the influence of snow clouds created by the cold air passing through the west sea.

Up to 15cm of snow will fall in the mountains of Jeju until tomorrow.

In the west coast of Chungnam and western Jeolla-do, 1 to 3 cm of snow will accumulate between tonight and dawn tomorrow.

There are also places where snow blows in the metropolitan area.

There are many places where snow that melted for a while during the day freezes again as the temperature drops at night.

In particular, be careful because there is a high possibility of a sliding accident on hills, slopes, and shady roads.

Fine dust is spreading smoothly as the cold wind blows today, so it will be in good condition nationwide.

This cold will continue until tomorrow morning and then soften as the nation regains its video rights from daytime.
