New applications are accepted for the’Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction’, which allows young people to earn a certain amount of money for two years after working in small and medium-sized businesses. Starting this year, some systems to protect subscribers will also be improved, such as giving refunds to young people who do not meet the requirements due to reasons attributable to companies.

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the 3rd, 100,000 youths will receive new applications for the fill deduction tomorrow this year. You can apply by accessing the Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction website. Young people with less than one year of employment insurance subscriptions who are in small and medium-sized enterprises with five or more employees (less than 300 billion won in annual sales) are eligible to join. However, venture companies can apply for companies with fewer than 5 employees.

The Youth Tomorrow Fill Deduction is a project that allows young people who are employed in small and medium-sized enterprises to earn 3 million won while working for two years, so that the government and corporations can support 6 million won and 3 million won, respectively, to form assets of 12 million won.

By the end of last year, the cumulative subscribers of the youth fill deduction amounted to 38,7568 (97,508 companies). Of these, 76,680 people received maturity funds. The percentage of young people who subscribed for the tomorrow’s fill-in deduction was 64.0%, which was 33.0% higher than that of young people employed by general SMEs (31.0%). After receiving the maturity payment, 88.1% of the subscribers who were employed at other companies have increased their remuneration level. The Ministry of Employment explained that this shows the effect of supporting the career formation of the youth fill deduction.

Starting this year, some systems will be improved to protect subscribers. If a subscriber terminates in the middle due to reasons attributable to the company, such as suspension or closure of business, he or she will receive a refund even if the subscription period is less than one year. Until last year, even if the company was terminated due to reasons attributable to the company, the refund could only be received if the subscription period was more than one year.

The period during which the payment of the reserve can be stopped due to a general closure is extended from 6 months to 12 months.
This measure takes into account the fact that companies are often closed due to the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19). In addition, if a subscriber leaves a job due to harassment in the workplace, etc., the company will be restricted from supporting the youth fill deduction for the following year.
