From the 11th, the government will pay the third disaster subsidy to the underprivileged, such as small businesses, special type workers (special high school), and freelancers, who have been hit by the third spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance on the 10th, the government will send a notification text message to the recipients of the priority payment of 4.1 trillion won worth of’small business support fund’ on the 11th. The small business owner can apply online from 8 am on the day of receiving the text message.

The third disaster subsidy is first paid to 2.5 million of the 2.8 million small businesses who suffered damage from Corona 19. Priority is given to small businesses who have previously received secondary disaster support (new desired funds) and specially damaged businesses that have been banned or restricted in accordance with the government’s quarantine guidelines.

Since November 24, last year, businesses such as gyms and karaoke bars that have been banned due to strengthening quarantine measures by the government and local governments can receive 3 million won, and business restricted businesses such as restaurants can receive 2 million won. Even if they are not subject to quarantine measures, small business owners whose sales were less than 400 million won last year and their annual sales decreased from 2019 can receive 1 million won.

For smooth application, an odd-even system (even on the 11th and even on the 12th) is operated based on the last digit of the business registration number for both days from 11 to 12. From the 13th, you can apply without any distinction. The government plans to start payment in the afternoon of the day of application as early as the 11th and complete it by the end of this month.

In the case of the remaining 300,000 new beneficiaries, support is paid from mid-March as soon as possible by selecting the targets for support based on the contents of the VAT report on the 25th. However, due to the extension of the VAT filing deadline, if sales are reported later, the payment period may be delayed.

The third’Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund’, which is paid to 700,000 freelancers and special high schools whose income has decreased due to the prolonged period of Corona 19, will also be paid from the 11th.

500,000 won per person will be paid preferentially to 650,000 people who received the first and second emergency employment stabilization support funds last year. However, as of December 24, last year, when special measures to strengthen quarantine during the year-end and New Year were implemented, those who subscribed to employment insurance are not eligible for support.

The government receives applications for them from 6 to 11 days. Even those who do not apply will be deemed to have applied for it, and the third subsidy will be paid to the registered account number when receiving the first or second subsidy. The government plans to complete payments on a first-come, first-served basis from the 11th to the 15th, the last day of application.

50,000 new beneficiaries are given 1 million won after examination. The project is scheduled to be announced on the 15th and administrative procedures such as application submission are scheduled.
