Foxconn is the world’s largest original equipment manufacturer (OEM) company. In order to enter the automotive field, in January of this year, a joint venture was established by investing in a 50-50 ratio with Chinese automaker Geely. The new joint venture will receive orders from customers in the future to manufacture and deliver finished cars, auto parts, and automotive smart control systems.
