According to local media such as WBTV and Fox46 News on the 3rd (local time), on the 30th of last month, a black man entered a Korean-American convenience store in Charlotte, North Carolina, wielding an iron rod, destroying property and causing a riot.

The identity of the offender was confirmed as Harvier Rash Udysilas (24). Police officers at Charlotte Mecklenburg arrested him for robbery, intimidation, and obstruction of public affairs using weapons, and are also considering the application of hate crime charges. The owner of the convenience store is said to be a Korean who has lived in Charlotte for decades.
