The number of corona19 confirmed patients in Busan per day again surpassed 30 due to a group infection in the elderly nursing hospital.

As of the afternoon of the 26th, Busan City announced that 31 new corona19 confirmed cases were added, and the cumulative number of patients was 2,618. On that day, 14 new confirmed patients, including 10 patients and 4 employees, were added at Bugok Nursing Hospital. The cumulative confirmed cases related to Bugok Nursing Hospital were 41 patients, including 26 patients, 14 workers, and 1 contact.

An additional patient was confirmed to be infected by the regular follow-up examination at the Cheil Nara Nursing Hospital. The cumulative confirmed cases of Cheil Nara Nursing Hospital were 67, including 14 employees, 50 patients, and 3 contacts. On the other hand, the Blue Life Senior Health Center was lifted from quarantine on the 26th with no additional confirmed cases.

Most of the remaining cases of infection were family-related infections, but five of them were confirmed at screening clinics and temporary testing centers, so the route of infection has not been identified.

Meanwhile, according to the city of Busan, nine people were located in Busan related to the Daejeon IEM International School, where the recent massive outbreak occurred. Of these, eight were confirmed and hospitalized, and one is in self-quarantine by voice. Reporter Kim Baeksang k103@
