On the 14th, Se-Hoon Oh, a preliminary candidate for Mayor of the People’s Power, announced a pledge for youth, including the establishment of a youth employment academy.

The pledge for the youth of preliminary candidates consists of △Establishment of the Youth Employment Academy △Providing Live Employment and Startup Special Lectures △Asset Soaking Consulting’Seoul Young Tech’ △Public Support for Housing Stability △Youth Information Network.

The Youth Employment Academy is an institution that provides online and offline education necessary for employment and entrepreneurship in the cutting-edge science and technology field.

Special lectures on employment and start-ups serve as a platform for successful seniors in each field to share their experiences with young people. In connection with universities across Seoul, an agreement recognized as a comparative course is also promoted.

To help young people build assets, Seoul Young Tech will use the existing’Hope Double Youth Passbook’ to increase the invitational support from the current 1,080 million won to 20 million won, and expand the target of support from 2.2 million won per month before the current tax to 2.5 million won per month. It also plans to promote linkage with the central government’s support system, such as the youth fill deduction.

For housing stability, 200,000 won per month will be provided to single households with a median income of less than 120% (aged 19 to 39) in Seoul for 10 months, and the existing youth purchase rental project will be expanded from 1,000 units to 2000 units per year. It is also planning to discuss with the central government so that the youth quota system can be introduced in public pre-sale housing.

We are also expanding the convenience of young people by opening the’All Youth Information Center’ that guides various youth support policies.

Candidate Se-hoon Oh said, “Because of the Moon Jae-in administration, the ladder of class movement is cut off and the price of real estate is soaring, and the polarization is severe, and the youth are feeling collapsed,” he said. “I will give wings to young people who dream and challenge.”
