Following the former head of the Jeonbuk Headquarters, an executive at the Paju Business Headquarters himself killed himself in connection with the allegations of speculation by employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).

At 10 am on the 13th, residents found that LH Paju Business Headquarters executive A (58) was strangled in a container in Sambang-ri, Beop-eup, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and reported it to the police.

No will was found on site. However, it is known that Mr. A sent a text message on his mobile phone saying’I’m sorry’ after talking with his family early this morning. The container that Mr. A was found dead was installed after he bought the land in February 2019.

On the 11th, the police were planning to confirm the facts by obtaining information that Mr. A was related to real estate speculation. However, the police said, “We haven’t even started an internal investigation yet,” and said, “I haven’t been in contact with or contacting Mr. A in the meantime.”

Mr. A is reported to have gone to work on the 12th, the day before his death. The police are planning to request an autopsy of the National Fruit Tree while investigating the exact details of the death through Mr. A’s family and fellow employees.

Earlier on the 12th, Mr. B (56), former head of the Jeonbuk Headquarters of LH, died in an apartment in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. In Mr. B’s house, he said,’I’m sorry to the people. A will was found stating that I feel full responsibility.

Mr. B was not included in the list of 20 people in the first investigation of allegations of speculation in the third new city announced by the government. However, it is presumed that the working days of LH Jeonbuk Headquarters from 2018 to 2019 were the background of extreme choice. Mr. B served as the head of LH Jeonbuk Headquarters from 2018 to December 2019. Currently, the Jeonbuk Police are investigating whether or not they are speculating against public officials in Jeonju.
