AMD CEO Lisasu “Released a laptop chip capable of watching movies for 21 hours on one charge

On the 12th (local time), AMD CEO Lisasu said, “AMD is releasing a line of Ryzen 5000 CPU chips for high-performance gaming notebooks.” “You can watch movies for up to 21 hours on a single charge or 17.5 hours in normal use.” The chip is expected to debut in more than 150 notebook models this year, with the first model coming out in February.

CEO Su said, “AMD is releasing Gen3 Gen 3 Epyc processors for use in data centers. Details will be announced in the first quarter.”

According to AMD, in a predictive model compared to Intel’s Xeon, Milan ran 68% faster than Intel’s’Xeon’ in a six-hour climate analysis.

AMD also emphasized collaboration with global companies. During the session, senior officials such as Microsoft and HP explained how they are working with AMD.

Meanwhile, AMD’s share price remained unchanged at the beginning of CEO Lisasoo’s keynote speech on the day, but the share price rose 1.5% when the chip was announced. However, it fell again after the keynote speech.

Rival Nvidia also announced a new line of gaming notebooks based on 30-series GPUs, which will be released from the end of January, similar to AMD. Nvidia’s stock price also fell by around 1%.

According to Reuters, Intel expects to compete with AMD and Nvidia with 7-nanometer discrete gaming chips manufactured by Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing companies.
