[아시아경제 최은영 기자] The twin sisters of Lee Jae-young and Da-young Da-young of Heungkuk Life’s female professional volleyball player, whose school violence was controversial, left the team’s accommodation.
On the 11th, Heungkuk Life Insurance said, “The two players are currently leaving the team’s dormitory,” and said that they plan to help the twin sisters recover through psychological treatment.
An official said, “I know well that there is a demand to discipline twin sisters in connection with the school violence controversy.”
He added, “We judge that discipline should be given when the player is in an acceptable mental and physical state,” he said.
Earlier on the 10th, an article appeared in an online community stating that Sisters Jaeyoung Lee and Dayoung had suffered school violence. In a long article titled “These are the current volleyball players, they are victims of school violence,” all the facts of the violence of the twin sisters in school were listed.
The author who revealed that he and his twin sisters had been active in elementary and junior high school volleyball sports together said, “If (twin sisters) did not like them, they criticized their parents as’Nine XX, XX’, swearing them, and ordered them to run errands. “I brought a knife and threatened me,” he said, “I walked money, pinched my stomach, beat my mouth, assembled, and hit my head.”
As the controversy spread, the sisters Jaeyoung Lee and Dayoung posted apology on their Instagram accounts. Through their handwritten apology, they said, “I’m very sorry to those who spent time suffering from wrong words and actions in school,” and “I will feel deeply guilty and self-confident.”
However, even after the Instagram apology was posted, the controversy surrounding the two does not seem to go away. The victim, who saw the apology, expressed his heart, saying, “It’s useless.” After posting an apology, it was known that Lee Da-young’unfollowed’ (hangs up a friend) of Kim Yeon-kyung’s Instagram account on the same team, and the disagreement arose again.
Finally, a petition was posted on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin, demanding their permanent expulsion.
In this petition titled’I urge the investigation of the facts of female volleyball players’ school violence and strict response,’ the petitioner said, “Even if (the two players) apologize, it is true that the nationality of the Korean sports industry has been damaged, and the Volleyball Federation and volleyball It is true that the image of the players as a whole is lost,” he said. “The Volleyball Federation will have to permanently expel the players.”
Meanwhile, as the controversy over Lee Da-young and Jae-young grew, TVN’s’You Quiz on the Block’ appeared in April of last year, and the T-Cast E-channel’Playing Sister’, which appeared in August of the same year, deleted their replays.
