The main vocalist of the indie band’Doma’ Kim Do-ma dies
Kim Do-Ma (Kim Soo-ah), the main vocalist of the famous indie band’Do-Ma’, died suddenly. Age 28.
‘Doma’ member and guitarist Geonu (Kim Geon-woo) delivered the news of Kim Do-ma’s death through social media on the 20th. The cause of death is unknown.
On this day, Geonu wrote, “I contacted only a few people around me because the situation of yesterday was not cleared up,” and “On March 19, the member of Doma Kim, Doma, passed away.”
He then wrote, “I think I’m going to hold the funeral in Jeonju on Monday,” and “I’ll share the details again when I receive it.”
When the news is delivered, fellow singers and netizens continue to wave of condolences by leaving comments such as “Please refrain from and wish the deceased”, “No way”, and “Please take a rest”.
‘Doma’ became known as a talented indie band by being nominated for the 2018 Korean Popular Music Awards Folk Album and Song Awards with their first full album in 2017,’I Go to the Island Without Reason’. Recently, he sang the 5th ending song’Whistle’ in the Netflix drama’Health Teacher Eunyoung Ahn’.
