Actor Park Joong-hoon (55) accused of drunk driving
On the afternoon of the 28th, SBS 8 News reported, “The Seoul Gangnam Police Station is investigating Park Jung-hoon for violating the Road Traffic Act (drinking and driving).”
Park Joong-hoon is accused of driving a drunken 100m distance from the entrance of an apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to the underground parking lot at around 9:30 pm on the 26th.
According to 8News, the police were dispatched after receiving a report that there was a drunk driver in the parking lot of an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and it was actor Park Jung-hoon. After drinking alcohol with an acquaintance that day, Park Joong-hoon is known to have drove directly to the parking lot on the second basement level after arriving at the apartment by calling a substitute driver.
At that time, Park Joong-hoon’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.176, twice that of the revoked license.
Park Joong-hoon has a history of revoking his license while driving under the influence of alcohol in Gangnam in 2004.
