AC Milan'Legendary' Dida visits Old Trafford with memories of UCL

Manchester United and AC Milan played the first leg of the UEFA Europa League round of 16 in the 2020/21 season at Old Trappdo on the 12th (Korean time).

The two clubs will face off against each other in Europe after 11 years. The two teams are the first since the 2009/10 season UEFA Champions League final 16.

Ahead of the confrontation between the two clubs, AC Milan uploaded a photo of a legend who visited Old Trafford through the club’s SNS.

The protagonist is Dida goalkeeper, who led AC Milan’s heyday in the 2000s. Dida was a legend goalkeeper who played for Milan for 11 years until the summer of 2010 after transferring to AC Milan from the prestigious Brazilian team Corinthias in the summer of 1999.

Dida raised the UEFA Champions League trophies twice in the 2002/03 season and the 2006/07 season, although he only experienced one Serie A victory in Milan in 2003/04.

Under AC Milan, Dida played 302 runs with 245 runs and 132 free runs, and Serie A also played 206 runs with 163 runs and 90 free runs.

Especially for Dida, Old Trafford is a very special place. The match between AC Milan and Juventus was held in the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2002/03 season.
