[아시아경제 김흥순 기자] The cumulative number of confirmed patients related to the BTJ Universal Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk, where a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) group infection occurred, increased to 729. There are still more than 1,100 people who have not been tested.

According to the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bangdaebon) on the 15th, a total of 729 confirmed cases related to the BTJ Heath Center as of 6 pm the previous day. On the same day, 16 people increased from 713 people as of 0 o’clock. Among visitors to the center, 227 confirmed cases. As of the previous day, 229 people fell out of two people whose relations were reclassified as a result of an investigation by the quarantine authorities. In addition, some of the confirmed cases caused additional transmission to 502 people in 9 provinces. This is an increase of 18 people from the previous day.

The quarantine authorities estimate that about 3,000 people have been there since last November. Among them, 1138 people who did not undergo examination were counted. About 1330 to 200 people were tested the day before, but there are still 1,100 untested.

The aftermath of group infections related to other religious institutions continues. The number of confirmed cases related to the church in Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, increased by 30 to 207, and related to the International Prayer Center in Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, 5 confirmed cases came out and totaled 85.

In addition, the number of confirmed cases related to the eastern detention center in Seoul increased by 4, a total of 1218 confirmed cases. One out of four newly confirmed confirmed cases was confirmed positive after being released on the 30th of last month during self-quarantine, and the other three after being transferred to southern prison.
