[아시아경제 서소정 기자] Traffic disruption on the way to work is concerned as a lot of snow intensively falls across the country from early morning to morning on Monday 18th.

According to the Meteorological Administration on the 17th, the estimated snowfall from that night to 6 pm tomorrow is around 3-10 cm in the central region (excluding the east coast), Jeonbuk, northern Jeollanam-do, and Gyeongbuk, and about 1 cm in the east coast of Gangwon-do and the east coast of Gyeongbuk.

The lowest temperature in the morning is -8 to 0 degrees, and the highest temperature in the daytime is -1 to 8 degrees. The temperature rises temporarily as the warm western wind blows, but at night it will get cold again due to the cold wind coming from the northwest.

The Meteorological Administration announced that heavy snow warnings will be in effect in 18 places in Gyeonggi, including Suwon, at 8:10 pm on the same day.

The regions are Suwon, Yongin, Seongnam, Bucheon, Hwaseong, Ansan, Anyang, Pyeongtaek, Siheung, Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Osan, Icheon, Anseong, Uiwang, Yeoju, and Gwacheon.

Heavy snow warning is issued when it is predicted that more than 5cm of snow will accumulate over 24 hours.
